This agreement sets expectations between BlackRide and independent chauffeurs who use the BlackRide driver platform. It supplements our published driver requirements; have counsel review before broad launch.
Last updated: May 12, 2026
Chauffeurs using BlackRide are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of BlackRide. You control how you perform accepted trips, subject to platform rules, safety standards, and applicable law. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment relationship.
You agree to provide service in a professional manner: punctuality, courteous communication, respect for guests and property, and attire appropriate to a premium chauffeur brand. Harassment, discrimination, unsafe driving, or misuse of guest data may result in immediate removal from active dispatch and account review.
Vehicles used on the platform must meet the standards described in our Driver requirements page (insurance, registration, condition, and class of vehicle). BlackRide may require photos, documents, or inspections and may pause trips until requirements are satisfied.
Fares and any platform commission are shown or calculated according to BlackRide's in-app rules and statements for completed trips. Payout schedules, methods, and tax reporting responsibilities are communicated in the driver app or operations notices. You are responsible for your own taxes and business filings.
BlackRide may suspend or terminate access for violations of this agreement, safety failures, fraud, document expiry, or legal or insurance requirements. You may stop using the platform at any time; outstanding obligations for completed trips and chargebacks survive termination.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction BlackRide designates in the full legal terms (see Terms of service), excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction's law.
