This policy explains how BlackRide handles refunds for card and eligible payments. It works together with our cancellation policy; have counsel review before broad launch.

When you cancel a reservation before a driver is assigned, you are generally eligible for a full refund of any card amount already captured for that booking, subject to successful processing by your bank and our payment partner.
If you cancel after a driver has been assigned, fees may apply under our cancellation policy. Any remaining balance may be refunded as a partial refund at BlackRide's discretion, based on trip status, notice timing, and operational costs already incurred.
If a chauffeur arrives and waits as agreed but the customer does not appear or cannot be reached (a no-show), no refund may be issued for that booking. BlackRide may charge or retain amounts consistent with the fare and cancellation terms in effect at booking time.
Approved refunds for card payments are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically post credits within 5–10 business days; timing can vary by issuer.
Email support@blackride.ca with your booking reference, the email on the reservation, and a short description of the issue. We will confirm eligibility and next steps.
