This policy explains how BlackRide handles refunds for card and eligible payments. It works together with our cancellation policy; have counsel review before broad launch.

When you cancel more than 2 hours before pickup, you are eligible for a full refund of any card amount already captured for that booking, with no cancellation charge.
If you cancel less than 2 hours before pickup, 50% of the fare is charged and the remaining eligible balance is refunded to your original payment method where applicable.
If your chauffeur has arrived or a no-show applies, 100% of the fare may be charged and no refund is issued for card payments already captured.
Approved refunds for card payments are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks typically post credits within 5–10 business days; timing can vary by issuer.
Email support@blackride.ca with your booking reference, the email on the reservation, and a short description of the issue. You can also cancel eligible bookings from My trips.
