These terms describe how BlackRide works when you book premium pre-arranged chauffeur and limousine service through our website or app. They are written to be clear and practical; if anything here conflicts with a written confirmation for a specific trip, the confirmation and fare details shown at booking will usually control for that trip.

BlackRide is a premium booking platform for pre-arranged chauffeur and limousine transportation, with a focus on airport transfers and other scheduled rides in Ontario, Canada. When you reserve through BlackRide, we coordinate your trip with professional drivers who may work as independent contractors or as operators affiliated with our network.
BlackRide provides booking, pricing estimates, dispatch coordination, customer support, and related digital tools. Your ride is performed by the assigned driver and vehicle, not by BlackRide acting as a common carrier. Service availability, vehicle classes, and routes may vary by location and season.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete trip information, including pickup and drop-off locations, scheduled pickup time, passenger count, luggage, flight details when relevant, and any special instructions. Please review your confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it.
If your plans change, update us as early as possible at support@blackride.ca so we can adjust dispatch fairly.
Fares shown during booking are estimates based on the information you provide, including route distance, traffic-related surcharges where applicable, stops, and published rate rules at the time of booking. Final charges may differ if the trip changes materially — for example additional waiting time, extra stops, route changes you request on the day of travel, or corrections needed because of inaccurate booking details.
Taxes, fees, and payment method rules will be shown or confirmed at checkout when available. If you have questions about a charge, contact support@blackride.ca with your booking reference before disputing with your card issuer so we can review the trip record.
A reasonable complimentary waiting period may apply for certain pickup types, after which waiting fees can accrue at the rates in effect when you booked. Waiting charges help cover driver time when delays are outside the driver's control — for example late flights, extended baggage claim, or passengers who are not at the agreed pickup point.
A no-show may be recorded if you are not available at the pickup location within the waiting window we communicate for your trip, or if you cannot be reached using the contact details on the booking. No-show and waiting fees, where applicable, will follow the fare and policy shown at booking or in your confirmation. For help before a driver leaves, call or email support@blackride.ca immediately.
We aim to keep cancellation fair for both guests and drivers. Unless your booking confirmation states otherwise:

We work with vetted chauffeurs and premium vehicles suitable for the service class you select. Photos and descriptions on the site are representative; the exact vehicle or interior finish may vary slightly while still meeting the booked service level. If something about your assignment concerns you, contact support@blackride.ca promptly so we can assist.
BlackRide expects a professional, respectful experience for everyone in the vehicle. You agree to treat drivers and staff courteously, follow reasonable safety instructions, and avoid harassment, discrimination, violence, damage to the vehicle, smoking where prohibited, and illegal activity.
We may end a trip early, refuse future service, or involve authorities when conduct poses a safety risk or violates these terms. Report serious incidents to support@blackride.ca as soon as it is safe to do so.
BlackRide may refuse, modify, or cancel a booking before or during service when we reasonably believe the trip is unsafe, abusive, illegal, fraudulent, impossible to fulfill with available resources, or inconsistent with these terms. We will try to notify you when practical and, where appropriate, refund or adjust charges according to the policies in effect at booking.
Chauffeur transportation involves real-world conditions BlackRide cannot fully control, including traffic, weather, airline delays, and third-party road events. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Ontario and Canada, BlackRide and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or a trip arranged through it.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim relating to a specific booking is limited to the amount you paid BlackRide for that booking (or the fare actually charged, if different), except where a higher limit is required by law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under consumer protection rules that apply to you.
You are encouraged to maintain travel insurance and to allow adequate time for airport and event transfers.
Our Privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information for bookings, payments, dispatch, and support. By using BlackRide, you acknowledge that policy. Privacy questions and data requests may be sent to support@blackride.ca.
By providing your contact details and completing a booking, you consent to receive transactional messages from BlackRide and our service providers about that trip — including confirmations, assignment updates, payment outcomes, invoices, and operational reminders. These messages are not marketing unless you separately opt in where offered.
Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can update contact preferences in your account when available, or write to support@blackride.ca for help. We may record communications needed to resolve disputes and improve service quality.
BlackRide is an evolving platform. We may add, change, or discontinue features, service areas, vehicle options, or partner networks as we improve operations. We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where applicable law requires a different approach.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may assign our rights in connection with a business reorganization where permitted by law.
